12 years to when it ALL began...

Yessiree, as of today, 24 October 2017, Club Penguin has turned 12 years old, and 12 years from where it all began.
"Waddle around and meet new friends!"

All over the community, people have been celebrating classic Club Penguin's 12th anniversary.

For those who play Club Penguin Island, Club Penguin Reunion are making an event to celebrate 12 years where it all began! So I think everyone should attend!

World: Marshmallow

Club Penguin Rewritten is also celebrating 12 years, and have decorated the Coffee Shop and you are able to tip the iceberg, followed by music changes in various rooms.

Igloos coming to CP Island

This news may be late - but better than never eh?
As you may have heard, igloos are coming to Club Penguin Island, in the next update! This is pretty cool, since Club Penguin Island is slowly developing and soon, it will hopefully be like the classic Club Penguin. Maybe they'd even add some puffles to the game, which would be REALLY cool!
I hear that there is A LOT coming with the igloos, so its best we wait for this new update.

The second named storm is coming to CP Rewritten by this Wednesday

Storm Brandon is coming to CP Rewritten, and is going to bring excessive lightning strikes and strong winds to the country. However, the worst of the weather will be towards the north of the island, where we could see cloud to ground lightning.
There is currently an amber weather warning for wind to the:
Dojo Courtyard
Ski Hill
Mineshack
Possibly the Ski Village
Winds in these areas may reach 70 miles and hour, and maybe even higher gusts with risks of squall winds and gust fronts.
But there is a red weather warning for extremely dangerous lightning for the:
Dojo Courtyard
Ski Hill
Possibly the lighthouse
Strong winds will be everywhere in the island, with the worst of it further north. And there will be severe lightning strikes for the everywhere in the island as well, especially further north. It is advised that penguins stay indoors.
