Before I ramble on about party details, allow me to share a brief history of Club Penguin Metro and this website.
Back in July 2014 when this website was made, I had no intention to be a news blogger. Instead, I was a somewhat passionate Pookie hater - and a loyal Puffle supporter. I recently discovered many Puffle agencies and I suddenly became interested. So when this website opened, it was called: Puffle Trust. Puffle Trust (which takes after Dogs Trust) made a steady start. I hired one author from the RPF (since I was in that army then) and we quickly got to work. The first event was a protest in front of the Puffle Pet Shop. To my surprise, it was a success, even though the people that joined me probably didn't hear of my new website. Some time later however, I began flicking through a blog called Club Penguin Memories (by Trainman) and I suddenly had wanted to be a news blogger. So that evening, I closed the website down, and I reopened it again to the public. So Puffle Trust closed down and became: Club Penguin Galaxy. The designs on the website were pretty slick and neat. However, I suspected that very few people were viewing the website. Many times, I changed the design of the website and the theme; everything had to be just perfect. However, I still wasn't satisfied. I felt that the name Club Penguin Galaxy just didn't make the cut - as if something was missing. Maybe Club Penguin Galaxy had its limitations due to its name, and everything had to be 'space themed'. We were still blogging, which was good enough, but I still wasn't quite satisfied with everything. Then much, much, MUCH later, I thought of the name Club Penguin Metro. One half of me agreed with this name; the other half felt that I was changing the website name way too much in such a short space of time. But I decided to go with the idea and in early September, I made an announcement regarding Club Penguin Galaxy's name change. The post can be found here: https://clubpenguinmetro.weebly.com/home/big-news. So, later, Club Penguin Galaxy became: Club Penguin Metro. Now I was satisfied! You're probably wondering: Why Club Penguin Metro? Well, it could mean Club Penguin Metro goes digs 'underground' to find the true, hidden news that people want to see (since metro trains go underground). Or it could mean something else. The reason why I chose this name is because the Metro, a famous British newspaper, is my favourite newspaper to read every now and again. And it has been called Club Penguin Metro ever since. We've reached 4 years in blogging and delivering news, which is why I've decided to throw a huge party to celebrate Club Penguin Metro's birthday! Proposed date of event: Saturday 8th September 2018 Time: 10:00 am CP Rewritten time (check the Snow Forts) Location: Zipline, Town The dress code is FORMAL WEAR so make sure you come in your suits and dresses. Puffles are allowed. Don't forget to invite as much people as possible and share the word using these hashtags: #CPMetroParty #4yearsofCPMetro Or if you like, you can Tweet this event by pressing the button below, in order to share the word!
